1. Agriculture (Magnesium Microelement Fertilizer & Soil Conditioner)

  • Magnesium Supplementation: Magnesium is the core component of chlorophyll, supplies essential nutrient for crops, corrects magnesium deficiency chlorosis (interveinal yellowing of leaves) and improves photosynthesis efficiency.
  • Suitable Crops: Universal for fruit trees (apple, citrus, grape), vegetables (tomato, cucumber, pepper), cash crops (cotton, rapeseed, tea) and grain crops (wheat, corn, rice); especially for magnesium-demanding crops like potato and sugarcane.
  • Soil Improvement: Strongly alkaline property neutralizes soil acidification, reduces soil active aluminum/iron toxicity, improves soil aggregate structure and enhances microbial activity; ideal for acid red soil and loam.

2. Industrial Manufacturing (Core Application Field)

  • Refractory Material: Heavy/dead-burned MgO with high density and thermal stability is used for refractory bricks, furnace linings in steel, cement and glass industries (resists high temperature up to 2800℃).
  • Rubber & Plastic Additive: Light MgO acts as an activator, vulcanizing agent and filler for rubber, improves tensile strength and aging resistance of rubber products; used as a stabilizer for plastic and PVC products.
  • Chemical Raw Material: Produces magnesium salts (magnesium sulfate, magnesium chloride), magnesium hydroxide and other magnesium compounds; used as a neutralizer in acid waste water treatment.

5. Animal Husbandry & Feed Industry

  • Feed Additive: Food-grade MgO supplements magnesium for livestock and poultry, maintains normal nerve and muscle function of animals, prevents magnesium deficiency-induced convulsion and growth retardation; applicable for pigs, chickens, cattle and aquaculture.


Agricultural Application Methods & Dosage (per mu)

  1. Base Fertilizer (Main Application): 5-10kg of agricultural grade MgO powder/granules, mixed evenly with soil or organic fertilizer before sowing/transplanting; for severely acidic soil, increase dosage to 10-15kg.
  2. Top Dressing: 3-5kg, applied at crop tillering stage, flowering stage and fruit expansion stage; ditch application and soil covering are recommended to reduce loss.
  3. Foliar Spraying: Mix with water to prepare 0.2-0.5% suspension (add a small amount of adhesive to improve adhesion), spray on leaves in morning/evening; spray 2-3 times at 7-10 day intervals for magnesium deficiency correction.
  4. Mix Application: Can be mixed with nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium fertilizers and other microelement fertilizers (avoid mixing with acidic fertilizers alone to prevent nutrient volatilization).

Storage & Handling Notes

  1. Store in a dry, cool, well-ventilated warehouse; avoid rain, moisture, direct sunlight and high temperature to prevent agglomeration (powder type).
  2. Do not store or mix with acidic substances (fertilizers, chemicals, acids), water and edible products to avoid chemical reaction (exothermic reaction with water) and cross-contamination.
  3. For heavy grade MgO blocks, prevent collision and breakage during transportation and storage; for powder type, use sealed packaging to reduce dust emission.
  4. Safety Operation: Wear protective gloves, goggles and dust mask during operation; avoid direct contact with eyes and skin (strongly alkaline, may cause slight irritation); rinse with plenty of clean water immediately if splashed.
  5. Shelf Life: 24 months under standard dry storage conditions; slightly agglomerated powder can be crushed and used normally, without affecting performance.
  6. Transportation: Transport in covered vehicles, avoid rain, snow and moisture; light loading and unloading to prevent package damage.
